The problem does not appear on a "fresh" session. xmodmap file from home and nothing changed. I thought it could be something related to xmodmap, but i removed. It is happening since long ago (more that a year) only on my user account on this pc and this os. So, it seems that xfsettingsd has something to do in the issue.ĭo you have any idea of how should I try to solve the problem? I found that when the problem is happening, if I manaully kill xfsettingsd, then xorg quickly reduces cpu usage level to normal values. I have read that the problem normally is not xorg itself but another program that calls it. During that time, desktop is perfectly usable save for keyboard shortcuts, which are unavailable till xorg goes back to normal cpu usage. Every time I resume from suspend (without having logged out session previously) xorg starts using 92% of cpu for around 5 minutes.
